Business Journal recognizes Lee Mehrkens as CFO of the Year
Mehrkens was honored with peer Twin Cities Chief Financial Officers at a ceremony on Nov. 7.
Chief Financial Officer Lee Mehrkens was honored on Nov. 7 at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's CFO of the Year luncheon at The Depot in Minneapolis. Lee has served as Ramsey County's CFO since May 2009.
Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has held the annual awards ceremony since 2007 to recognize outstanding financial leaders in the Twin Cities who are a crucial part of organizations' leadership teams. Nominees were evaluated by a panel consisting of other financial executives, who scored them on their contributions to the company and the community.
Of the 20 local CFOs recognized in the private, non-profit and public sectors, Mehrkens was the only honoree in the Government category.
