Confronting Racism: Minnesota Style at Ramsey County Library Nov. 2 and Dec. 7

Ramsey County Library, in partnership with YWCA Minneapolis and Do Good Roseville, is hosting two sessions of Confronting Racism: Minnesota Style on Thursday, November 2 and December 7.

November 2

The workshop is presented by Alicia Sojourner of YWCA Minneapolis. Attendees will learn the tools needed to help respond to overt and covert racism, and develop participants' active listening skills. The skills learned in this workshop can be easily applied and taught to others to create more inclusive environments and to continue the work of eliminating racism.

This event will be held at 7 p.m. at Ramsey County Library - Roseville

December 7

Sojourner will also present the second session of the workshop with the same concepts but will gear the content towards youth in middle school and high school.

It will held at 7 p.m. at Ramsey County Library - Maplewood
