County offering up to $100 in gift cards for COVID-19 vaccination

Visa gift cards are available to everyone who gets vaccinated at a clinic operated by Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health, beginning Aug. 13. Program continues while supplies last:

  • Get up to $100 in gift cards for the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine ($50 per dose; doses given 3-4 weeks apart).
  • No matter where you live – you are eligible and encouraged to get a vaccine and a gift card.
  • Get your gift card immediately after vaccination - no forms or paperwork required.
  • Gift cards only available for vaccinations received after Aug. 13 at Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health-operated clinics, while supplies last.

“With COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations rising again in our communities as a result of the much more contagious Delta variant, it’s more important than ever that everyone who is eligible gets vaccinated,” said Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health Director Sara Hollie. “We hope these gift cards are the extra incentive for people to take the most effective step in protecting themselves and their families by getting the COVID-19 vaccine at one of our clinics at schools, community centers, or “pop-up” sites at events and community locations.”

Individuals no matter where they live are eligible and encouraged to get a vaccine and a gift card. The county’s incentive will only be given out for COVID-19 vaccinations received at a Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health-operated clinic starting Friday, Aug. 13. They will not be available for vaccinations from a pharmacy, medical provider or other clinics not operated by Ramsey County. To find a Ramsey County-operated clinic, visit ramseycounty.us/COVIDvaccine, or call 651-266-1190.

COVID-19 vaccines are free, no medical insurance or ID is required. The gift card incentive is being offered through a partnership by Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health and Ramsey County's Racial Equity and Community Engagement Response Team (RECERT).
