The Downtown Service Center located at 160 E. Kellogg Blvd. (Government Center East) in downtown Saint Paul will be temporarily relocated to Metro Square beginning Tuesday, Jan. 18. The temporary location at Suite 2500 on the skyway level of Metro Square (121 7th Pl. E., Saint Paul 55101) will provide the same services during the same hours and days of operation for an estimated four- to six-week period.

Free parking is available across the street from Metro Square at the Block 19 ramp located at 145 E. 7th St. – a voucher for two hours of free parking will be provided for visitors to the temporary Service Center. Transit tokens will be provided for those arriving by bus or light rail

Operations at Roseville and Maplewood Service Center locations will continue unchanged. For information about all Ramsey County Service Centers, please call 651-266-0600.

The relocation was necessitated by traffic and other disruptions related to the federal civil rights trial of former Minneapolis Police officers scheduled at the U.S. Courthouse directly across the street from 160 E. Kellogg Blvd. Jury selection is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.

We apologize to our clients and visitors for any inconvenience caused by this temporary relocation.

Visit the city of Saint Paul website for updated map of road closures

The overnight Safe Space emergency shelter for those experiencing homelessness will continue to remain open on a referral-only basis following its current schedule.
