Election Day is Nov. 2

Vote today

Polls are open on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 2) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you're not already registered, you can register to vote at your polling place.

Returning absentee ballots

If you requested an absentee mail-in ballot but never returned it, you can still vote. You should go to your assigned polling place to vote. Your absentee ballot will be spoiled (made invalid) and you will be issued a new ballot to cast at the polling place. It is now too late to return your ballot by mail.

On Election Day, the only place you may return your ballot in person is to Ramsey County Elections Office by 3 p.m. Do not place your ballot in any county or city document drop boxes or payment boxes; it will not be counted.

COVID-19 procedures

Ramsey County is committed to providing services while protecting the health of residents and staff. All absentee and Election Day polling places have public health measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including social distancing, complimentary mask and hand sanitizer.

Initial unofficial results will be posted on the secretary of state's website after polls close on Tuesday, Nov. 2. These results will include votes cast in person at polling places on election day and absentee ballots.

Updated results will be posted to the secretary of state’s website.
