Enjoy free, guided programs throughout the summer months in Ramsey County's regional and county parks. Activities are led by Parks & Recreation staff or specialists for each event.
Yoga in the Park
Kick off your Sunday with relaxing and restorative Yoga in the Park at Battle Creek Regional Park.
Paddle boarding & boating
Try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding, traditional kayaking or surf skis at Beaver Lake County Park and Lake. These fun, popular activities are a great way to get out on the water on Minnesota's lakes.
Unleash your inner lumberjack at log rolling events at Tony Schmidt Regional Park. Learn the basics of log rolling and have a chance to try it out on synthetic logs.
Bring the family to Long Lake Regional Park to learn how to fish during Cops & Bobbers. Co-sponsored by New Brighton Parks & Recreation and New Brighton Public Safety, this event will provide the opportunity to reel in the "catch of the day" while learning about water and boating safety.
Shakespeare in the Park
Head to Tony Schmidt Regional Park for a theatrical performance. Classical Actors Ensemble will perform Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, set in the colorful mid-1960s along with live, contemporary music. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and a picnic to enjoy.
