Free summer programs at Tamarack Nature Center

Tamarack Day Camp participant

Tamarack Nature Center offers free summer programs for many age groups covering a wide variety of nature topics.

Drop-In Discovery Stations

Tamarack's Drop-In Discovery Stations are free and family-friendly, featuring a range of nature topics including close-up visits with live animals like the resident owls, snakes and salamanders. Participants get hands-on experience with touchable artifacts like skulls and skins, and get to sample edible treats from the Discovery Hollow garden.

Meet the Gardener

Come join Tamarack's gardeners at Meet the Gardener, every Monday from 10:15-11 a.m. until August 21. Visitors are invited to meet the gardeners and discover the surprising ways plants grown and bloom.

Weekend Gardeners

At Weekend Gardeners, visitors can work side-by-side with Tamarack Nature Center's gardening staff and volunteers and learn about how the garden grows. Get ready to plant, water, weed, harvest and learn!
