Glass Containers
Disposal
The following types of glass should be placed in the trash:
- Broken glass.
- Drinking glasses.
- Ceramics.
- Window glass.
- Mirror glass.
- Glass cookware.
- Mason jars.
- Glass vases.
These types of glass are not accepted in curbside recycling because they have a different melting point.
Recycle
The following types of glass should be placed in your curbside recycling bin:
- Glass bottles.
- Glass jars.
Remember:
- Empty, rinse and cap the containers. Remove pumps and sprayer tops if applicable.
- It's OK to leave the labels on.
- Do not place recyclables in plastic bags.
