Covid-19 has put a strain on what was growing a positive economic and political relationship between China and the African continent. As President Xi Jinping’s “Belt and Road initiative” expands Chinese power, Duncan McCampbell, a lawyer and professor of international business and law at Metropolitan State University, will trace the growing economic and political tensions between China and Africa.
