High winds, potential for unseasonably severe weather Dec. 15
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Ramsey County for the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, Dec. 15. A tornado watch is also in effect until 11 p.m. Damaging winds are expected with gusts up to 80 mph. Winds may cause power outages and damage trees.
Severe storms are expected to develop quickly with little warning between 5-9 p.m. Cold temperatures overnight could result in a flash freeze and icy roads.
