Library to host 'Talking with Young Children About Race' on Nov. 21

The Ramsey County Library in Maplewood will host a community conversation Monday, Nov. 21 focused on talking to young children about race. The conversation will be hosted by a panel of community experts and is intended to help adults struggling to explain current events and social justice to young children. Panelists include Alicia Sojourner, Shannon Gibney, Denise Dzik and Kathy Griebel.

Additional resources will be available from Ramsey County Library children’s librarians.

The conversation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Program Room. The program is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
