New programming comes to Ramsey County Parks

Ramsey County Parks & Recreation is adding a free park program, beginning this week. Two bird walks will be held in May at Battle Creek Regional Park and Vadnais-Snail Lake Regional Park, led by local birder, Jamie McBride. This fun and engaging bird-watching course will teach participants about the many different species of birds migrating through Minnesota in spring. Migrating songbirds are found throughout the parks system in spring and there is sure to be plenty to see.

All ages are welcome to participate. Both walks begin at 7:30 a.m.

May 5 - Battle Creek Regional Park
May 12 - Vadnais-Snail Lake Regional Park
