Full Description

The purpose of the public hearing and comment period is to receive comments from the general public concerning the proposed housing and community development needs and objectives of Ramsey County and the projected use of fiscal year 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Program Income derived from CDBG.

Proposed amendments

The proposed amendment is for CDBG funding in the amount of $168,000 to be awarded to Ramsey County Human Services Housing Stability for the Emergency Hotel Stay Program, which will assist with homeless prevention and housing stability throughout Suburban Ramsey County. This plan also addresses the cancellation and reallocation of $30,000 in CDBG funds for the PY2020 Suburban Ramsey Lead Intervention Pilot. Funds for the amendment come from prior years’ 2018, 2019 and 2020 unallocated funds and 2020 unallocated program income. This also amends the 2018 and 2019 Annual Action Plans and includes funds from prior years that resulted from unallocated funds and program income.
