Ramsey County wins Best of Show at Minnesota Association of Government Communicators' Northern Lights Awards
At the May 22 Northern Lights Awards hosted by the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators (MAGC) the Ramsey County Communications & Public Relations team received six awards, including the event's highest honor, Best of Show.
Ramsey County's award-winning projects included:
- Meet Sting: The Greyhound (Best of Show winner; Northern Lights Award - first place in social media engagement).
- Tamarack Nature Center summer guide (Best of Show nominee; Northern Lights Award - first place in program or catalog).
- Clinic 555 (Silver Award - second place in logo, icon or icon set).
- 2018 election communications (Silver Award - second place in public information project).
- Foster care campaign (Bronze Award - third place in public information project)
Award submissions were judged and scored by members of the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers in a partnership arrangement for 2019.

Since 2015, Ramsey County communications staff and projects have been recognized with 28 awards at the annual Northern Lights ceremony.
