Renay Strenger receives employee achievement award
Renay Strenger, a social worker for child care intake, was presented with an employee achievement award during the Feb. 22 board meeting.
Ms. Strenger has worked as a front-line social worker for almost two decades. She is known for her excellent work ethic and commitment, unique interpersonal relationship techniques, always making safety a priority and giving her clients peace of mind. With the many rules and regulations that the county must fulfill related to child care licensing, Ms. Strenger takes it upon herself to thoroughly understand the process, which was made more difficult during the pandemic. Despite the added difficulty, she never let it stop her from supporting her clients. Ms. Strenger guides applicants through required site visits, fire inspections and other tasks they must complete, and always goes out of her way to meet the needs of applicants.
