Since the Oak Savanna Restoration Project began in 2019, Tamarack Nature Center has received many inquiries about the dramatic changes happening in the northeast quadrant of the preserve. Where did all the trees go? Why are there so many big machines? What purpose did the recent fire serve? Join Stacey and Justin as they answer all those questions and more about this important work to help save an endangered ecosystem, the oak savanna.
Tamarack Naturalists will be answering questions as they come in during the video premiere. Send in all your restoration questions by commenting on Friday's video between 10 - 10:30 a.m.
