Summer programs for all ages at Gibbs Farm
Gibbs Farm is now open for the season!
The Ramsey County Historical Society will offer new and returning programs during the 2017 Gibbs Farm season. Throughout the summer and into the fall, there will be various events happening on Saturdays, Sundays and select Fridays.
Parking is free for site visitors in the lot on the north end of the site off of Cleveland Avenue. General admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors (ages 62+), $5 for children ages 4-16 and free for Ramsey County Historical Society members.

Ice Cream Sundays
Enjoy ice cream made the old-fashioned way as a delicious treat for the summer at Gibbs Farm Ice Cream Sundays. Attendees receive free ice cream, meet the farm animals and participate in farm tours. General admission applies, event occurs every other Sunday from June to August.
This program series features a special topic each week that focuses on the lives and heritage of the pioneer and Dakota women who lived here during the early years of Minnesota. Programs are led by costumed interpretive staff or guest presenters and include a brief history. Farm Fridays occur every Friday, June 9 - August 25.
Festival Days are included in general admission and celebrate Minnesota's first people, an apple festival and an old-fashioned Halloween on various Saturdays from June - October.
Day camps are offered throughout the summer at Gibbs Farm. Children can learn about the Dakota lifestyle, pioneer history, archeology and other subjects. Camps are offered by age group, children ages 4-5 and 6-10.
