Summer reading program kicks off June 10 at Ramsey County Library - Roseville

Kick off summer at Ramsey County Library’s annual Summer Festival on Sat., June 10!

Stop by the library in Roseville for a day of hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Activities include origami, seed mosaic art, cookie decorating and more. Participants can also pick up their summer reading program materials and get a great start on a summer of learning.

The 2017 summer reading program, Bookawocky: My Summer Library Experience, runs through August 13.

Festival times

Children
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Appropriate for all ages.

Teens
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Teen activities will include using a 3D printer, vinyl cutter, and other materials to make music and a DIY band.

  • 1 - 3 p.m. -  Bottle Flip Beats with Garage Band, Cakerspace and Shrinky Dink Shakers
  • 1 - 4 p.m. - Whistling Contest with Spoons
  • 2 - 4 p.m. - 3D printed Kazoos and Freak the Geek - test your tech know-how and win prizes.
