Surface repair work begins soon on McKnight Road, intersection of White Bear and Larpenteur avenues

Update June 18: Pavement repairs have been delayed on both road segments due to utility repair work in the area. New dates for the work are being determined and will be posted soon.

Work will begin Tuesday, June 18 on small resurfacing projects to repair and prevent potholes on:

  • McKnight Road between Burns and Minnehaha avenues.
  • The intersection of White Bear and Larpenteur avenues.

Crews will repair sections of pavement to repair potholes and prevent further deterioration during the winter and spring seasons. These will not be full resurfacing projects, and work will be focused on areas that have required significant patching over the past couple of years.

Short-term lane closures and shifts will be in place when work is being performed. Business access will be maintained during the duration of the projects.

Both projects are expected to take about one week to complete. Please use alternate routes when possible to reduce traffic congestion.
