Thanking our volunteers during National Volunteer Week 2017

In honor of the 44th National Volunteer Week from April 23-29, a special thank you to the volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to Ramsey County each year. 

Throughout 2016, 1,969 citizens volunteered 111,369 hours of their time to enhance the quality of life in Ramsey County. The estimated value of their contributions is $2.6 million. 

Volunteers help educate and engage other citizens about county programs and services by providing an in-person connection with their own families, neighbors and networks. Ramsey County volunteers perform hundreds of different and valuable duties for the county including working with Ramsey County Library, Emergency Management & Homeland Security, correctional programs, care providers and various other departments and services.
