Upcoming winter events at Landmark Center
2017 Urban Expeditions
Join Landmark Center as they travel around the world through their various Urban Expedition events in the upcoming months. The events are part of Sundays at Landmark and feature crafts, exhibits, dance and live animals from different cultures and countries around the world. All of the events are from 1-3 p.m. and are free to attend.
- Sunday, January 22 - Denmark
- Sunday, February 12 - Switzerland
- Sunday, March 12 - Colombia
- Sunday, April 9 - Togo
- Sunday, April 23 - Karen (Burma)
A Carpathian Celebration
Returning for its second year, A Carpathian Celebration brings together traditions from several cultures in Carpathian region of central and eastern Europe. The celebration will include dancing, music and crafts. Merchandise, food vendors, children's games, travelogues will be available as well as a cafe with traditional Carpathian refreshments for purchase.
The event is part of Sundays at Landmark on February 19 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $6 or $4 for ages 12 and under.
Landmark to Lowertown
On Wednesday, January 25 from noon - 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy Ethiopian food for sale and Yohannes Tona Band's 13 Months of Sunshine in Landmark Center's Musser Cortile. Yohanne Tona's new album features sounds of his native Ethiopia.
