Virtual town hall provides information on affordable housing

Ramsey County residents can learn about affordable housing in suburban areas of the county at a virtual town hall Thursday, Aug. 27. Join us to learn:

• What is affordable housing? How do we define it?
• How the nationwide housing shortage is playing out in Ramsey County.
• Historical barriers to equitable housing in Ramsey County.
• The role of affordable housing in a healthy economy.

This conversation is part of Ramsey County’s Economic Competitiveness and Inclusion Plan and will be facilitated by the Saint Paul-based Center for Economic Inclusion. The town hall will be held online through a Zoom meeting from 6-7:30 p.m.
