March 22: Now That I Found It, How Do I Organize It?

You found it once, but did you capture it and if so can you find it again? This is a problem common to all genealogists. In this session Tom Rice will show various methods of organizing physical files and software tools to help put order into captured websites, digital photos, scanned documents, and other genealogical information.

April 26: White Bear Township: The Battle for Independence

Over the past century and a half, the original 36 square mile White Bear Township gave birth to the cities of Gem Lake, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights and White Bear Lake. Join us to hear how the story unfolded through a series of hot legal disputes and emotional exchanges.

This series is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

This is an online class offered remotely using Zoom communication software. After registration, participants will receive an email from the library approximately three days prior to class with additional instructions including a link (or URL) that will be used as an invitation to enter the online class. If registering within 72 hours of class start time, expect to receive an email with the instructions and link the morning of the event.
