City of Saint Paul

As of August 3, 2021 - The City of Saint Paul has resumed its requirement that all employees and visitors to city-controlled facilities wear cloth face coverings, whether they are vaccinated or not. Learn more

Ramsey County

Following the meeting of the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, August 3 - Due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ramsey County, and new recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, cloth face coverings are now required in county facilities.

  • All visitors and employees are required to wear cloth face coverings regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not.
  • This policy applies to all indoor buildings and facilities operated by Ramsey County.
  • Free masks are available at county buildings for visitors who need them.

Visitors are not required to wear a face covering while outdoors at Ramsey County sites, unless at an activity specifically signed by the county as requiring a face covering. Ramsey County employees are required to wear face coverings outdoors while they are within six feet of others.

Current CDC mask recommendations

To reduce the risk of being infected with the Delta variant and possibly spreading it to others, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) now recommends everyone (vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals) wear masks in public settings while indoors based on the current level of transmission of COVID-19.
