Coronavirus Impacts on County Services

Ramsey County is committed to providing services throughout the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak while protecting the health of residents and staff.

Most building locations are closed to the public - these will not be reevaluated to reopen before May 1 in alignment with Governor Walz's Executive Orders of March 25, 2020.

Most service questions can be answered by phone or email.

Customer Contact Center (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

651-266-8500

Ramsey County's Customer Contact Center is a one-stop option for directing and resolving resident inquires via phone, email, social media and other means.

Ramsey County’s office phone lines are open during regular hours. If you receive a busy signal or message when calling, it’s because of the heavy cell phone call volume in the Twin Cities metro area. If possible, please try calling from a landline phone or a cell phone connected to another mobile carrier.

Drop-off and processing sites

For the limited situations in which it is not possible for a resident to interact with Ramsey County via telephone or online options, three locations in the city of Saint Paul and three suburban Ramsey County locations will serve as secure drop-off and processing sites for documents related to all service types. These will be open during the locations’ regular business hours.
