Housing Resources
Ramsey County works with a variety of local agencies to provide resources for people who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of becoming homeless or need emergency assistance to stay in their homes.
- Do you need help with homeless assistance? View Housing Services and Support.
- Are you a community partner? Visit Heading Home Ramsey.
- Are you concerned about interruptions in your income and paying your bills? View Emergency Assistance and Emergency General Assistance. View the informational flyer about emergency assistance with rent, mortgage and utilities.
Housing Link has created a COVID-19 resource for renters page including specific information for renters in Minnesota regarding evictions, unemployment insurance, emergency assistance, food, utilities, internet and effective communication with landlords. The resource page tracks the executive orders of Governor Tim Walz regarding evictions and lease terminations during the peacetime emergency, which currently lasts until July 12, 2020. The CARES act imposes a 120-day moratorium (through July 24, 2020) on tenant eviction filings and charging late fees.

Sheltering community partner meetings
Ramsey County’s Housing Planning Team is hosting a series of meetings to inform shelter service providers and community organizations of the county’s COVID-19 sheltering efforts. Initial meetings included summary findings of capacity needs and challenges and a focused conversation regarding community recommendations for the development of a COVID-19 for Ramsey County.
If you are interested in attending or participating in future meetings, please email Altreisha Foster-Bentho.
