Psychology MA/LPCC Internship

Ramsey County Social Services is currently accepting applications for one full-time placement begining in September 2018 at the Ramsey County Mental Health Center.

Masters level students may apply.

Responsibilities

Students have the opportunity to work in the full spectrum of mental health delivery, from intensive outpatient programming for individuals with acute symptoms, to weekly individual and group therapy. In addition to mental health services, we also have developed an integrated dual diagnosis intensive outpatient service that focuses on strengths, personal responsibility, self-advocacy, support, hope, education and empowerment.

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, we emphasize a collaborative, holistic, integrative approach to care. The intern's primary duties will be co-facilitating psychotherapy groups, but will also have opportunities to lead psychoeducational groups. The student will eventually be assigned individual clients to follow throughout the client's stay in the program, from welcome, to treatment planning, to discharge planning.
