Ramsey County Parks & Recreation offers a variety of park programs throughout the year. Current programs are detailed below. Programs are drop-in style and free of charge unless otherwise noted. All ages are welcome to participate in park programs.

Story trails, provided in partnership with Ramsey County Library, are free programs perfect for all ages, especially families with young children. Story trails combine reading with getting active outside and enjoying nature. Each page of a book is placed on a sign along the park's walking trail for visitors to enjoy.

Try out kayaking at this free program offered at Long Lake Regional Park! Suitable for ages 6+ offered in partnership with the Rice Creek Boat Club.
