Larpenteur Avenue Concrete Repair
The concrete pavement on Larpenteur Avenue between Malvern Street and Snelling Avenue will be repaired. Work will include concrete joint replacement, surface repairs, catch basin repairs, traffic signal upgrades, signs and pedestrian curb ramp replacement.
The traffic signal at Eustis Street will be upgraded with new LED bulbs and pedestrian countdown timers. The signals at Gortner and Fairview avenues will be upgraded with new LED bulbs and new flashing left turn lights.
Land surveying crews will be working in the project area before, during and immediately after construction.
Work began the week of May 28 and is expected to last until late July.
Temporary lane closures or shifts will be in place during construction. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout the project.
During signal work, temporary all-way stops will be in place. Only one signal will be under construction at a time. All signals will be operational during the Back to the '50s event.
Business and residential access will be maintained throughout the project.
