Case Updates

Michelle Jing was sentenced November 13, 2017  for her limited role in the illegal enterprise outlined in the complaint. She reaffirmed, under oath, that she had knowledge of the human trafficking operation run by her mother and others. She also benefited financially and knew that all money was the result of a human trafficking operation in the United States.

Hong Jing was sentenced to 102 months in prison on February 9, 2018. She plead guilty to one count of Racketeering and one count of aiding and abetting 2nd Degree Sex Trafficking. At sentencing, the State asked for a considerable amount of money seized be criminally forfeited as a result of her Racketeering conviction.  

Dongzhou Jiang is set for sentencing in Washington County. Date TBD

Sophia Wang Navas is set for trial on July 30, 2018 in Washington County.
