Full Description
The County Manager and service teams will present their 2024-25 proposed budgets to the board of commissioners for review throughout August and September in the Council Chambers.
Ramsey County uses its two-year (biennial) operating budget to monitor revenue and expenses and to improve financial management and strategic planning.
- Aug. 22, 9 a.m. - County Manager presents 2024-25 budget, reports from County Assessor, County Auditor and Policy & Planning Director.
- Sept. 5, 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. - Strategic Team and Chief Financial Officer presents 2024-25 budget to the board.
- Sept. 6, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Economic Growth and Community Investment Service Team presents 2024-25 budget to the board.
- Sept. 8, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Safety and Justice Service Team presents 2024-25 budget to the board.
- Sept. 18, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. - Health and Wellness Service Team presents 2024-25 budget to the board.
- Sept. 19, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. - Information and Public Records Service Team presents 2024-25 budget to the board.
- Sept. 19, 4:30 p.m. - First public hearing at Saint Paul City Hall – Ramsey County Courthouse.
- Dec. 6 - Second public hearing. The time and venue will be announced later this fall.
