1. Follow signs to the drop-off bins for household recycling and food scraps. In the map, this is route #3:
   • 3a in green is for food scraps.
   • 3b in dark blue is for household recycling and scrap metal.
2. Park your vehicle. Place recyclables and food scraps in the correct bin.

1. Follow signs for the HHW and electronics drive-through. In the map, this is route #2 and highlighted in purple.
2. Pull into the drive-through. Staff will remove materials from your vehicle.

Safe transport tips

• Keep products in original container, upright and tightly sealed.
• Transport in a bag, box or tote in the trunk or cargo bed of vehicle.
• Never mix chemicals. It can be dangerous and prevents recycling.

Metro Transit route 65 stops at Dale Street and Larpenteur Avenue. The Environmental Center is 0.2 blocks east.

There is a sidewalk on the north side of Larpenteur Avenue.

There is a dedicated bike lane on Larpenteur Avenue.

If you bike or walk, call the front desk at 651-266-0200 to let them know you are dropping off materials, and a staff member will meet you outside.
