County 2024-25 biennial budget information and listening session scheduled for April 11

Ramsey County is hosting a 2024-25 biennial budget information and listening session for residents from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 in the Red Cap room at Union Depot in Saint Paul. All county residents are welcome to attend.

At the event - which will also be recorded and streamed live via Microsoft Teams - representatives from the county's Finance department will provide information about the budgeting process and different types of budgets. The County Assessor's Office will also be available to answer questions about appealing property tax assessments and applying for property tax refunds. If you have questions about your proposed valuation, this is the time to ask questions and take action if you believe your valuation to be in error.

Both in-person and virtual attendees will be able to pose general questions, as time allows.

ASL, Spanish, Somali, Karen and Hmong interpreters will be available either on-site or via Microsoft Teams.

Validated parking is available for attendees who use the ramps nearest Union Depot. Attendees who choose to use public transportation to attend the event can request reimbursement passes.
