Parks and trails are open to the public. Playgrounds reopen July 2. Restrooms are open at high-traffic park locations and cleaned daily. Portable toilets are available where restrooms have not reopened yet. Drinking fountains remain off. Picnic shelter and pavilion reservations are open to groups of 25 or fewer people; weddings, funerals and planned religious services may host groups of 250 or fewer guests.
Controlled deer hunt
Ramsey County Parks & Recreation, in partnership with the Metro Bowhunters Resource Base, will be conducting controlled archery deer hunts this fall throughout the county parks system. Daylong hunts will be conducted at eight park and trail locations on select dates through December, temporarily impacting the availability of some parks and trails. Ramsey County is home to nine county parks, six regional parks and five regional trail corridors. Many parks include lake access and provide a variety of recreation opportunities, such as boating, picnicking, play areas and swimming.
