Family coaching services now available for residents
Family coaching services are now available through Family Values for Life for Ramsey County’s African American/Black identifying families with young children. Family coaches offer strength, motivation and holistic support for up to one year to help families thrive.
Family coaches:
- Implement Kellogg Family-Centered Coaching Model to meet families where they are and help them work towards stability.
- Provide a safe space for families to access and navigate culturally responsive, community-based resources and services for themselves and children, resolve challenges, and develop their own solutions needed to reaching their personal goals.
- Offer voluntary, flexible, holistic, trauma-informed, follow-along support to assist families in acquiring skills and setting goals.
- Provide support for families for six months up to one year.
Community providers and staff from Ramsey County and Family Values for Life and can initiate a referral. Families can also request a referral.
