Housing development and public infrastructure solicitations open now through March 14

Ramsey County is now accepting applications for two solicitations through March 14:

Housing Development

The Housing Development solicitation offers a wide range of funding sources for eligible development projects that need assistance to build or preserve affordable housing. New construction and preservation of multifamily rental housing projects are eligible for consideration. Projects may be located in either suburban Ramsey County or the city of Saint Paul.

Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Public Services, Programs and Facilities

This CDBG Public Services, Programs and Facilities solicitation is available to applicants for public infrastructure projects in low-to-moderate income communities and public services and programs that promote the rehabilitation of owner-occupied housing. Eligible projects must be located in suburban Ramsey County cities.

Upcoming solicitations:

March 7

Ramsey County will open two solicitations within the Critical Corridors program, Pre-development Planning and Commercial Corridor Initiative.The county will seek proposals that support redevelopment, connectivity and economic prosperity along transit, economic and cultural corridors, aligning with the Economic Competitiveness & Inclusion Plan and Equitable Development Framework.

March 15

Ramsey County will begin accepting applications for the Spring 2023 Environmental Response Fund. This program provides assistance to offset the cost of environmental assessment and cleanup. Ramsey County will be presenting on local brownfield redevelopment financing on Thursday, Feb. 23.
