I-694 closure planned from Victoria Street to Rice Street April 12-15

Interstate 694 is scheduled to be closed this weekend from Victoria Street to Rice Street for work on the I-694/Rice Street interchange reconstruction project. The closure will begin Friday, April 12 at 10 p.m. and includes both east and westbound I-694.

I-694 will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, April 15.

During the closure, construction crews will remove the west side of the Rice Street bridge over I-694. Reconstruction of the I-694/Rice Street interchange began in March and will take about two years to complete. The project will improve traffic flow in the interchange and create better pedestrian and bike facilities along Rice Street.
