Larpenteur Avenue closed April 7 for emergency railroad repair

Larpenteur Avenue in Saint Paul and Maplewood will be closed to traffic in both directions at the railroad crossing east of Rice Street on Wednesday, April 7. The closure is necessary for an emergency repair of the railroad crossing. The closure will begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to be complete in the afternoon.

A signed detour will be in place using Arlington Avenue, Jackson Street and Rice Street.

Business access will be maintained.
