New Brighton Road open to traffic following culvert replacements
Oct. 8 update: New Brighton Road has reopened to traffic. The road is currently unpaved and signs are posted to alert drivers to the loose rock and rough road. Paving will occur later in October. During paving, the road will remain open to traffic with lane shifts and flagging in place.

New Brighton Road in Arden Hills and New Brighton will be closed to traffic in both directions between 1st Street and Thom Drive beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5 to replace two culverts.
Detour and yard waste site access
The road will be closed to through traffic. A signed detour will be in place using 2nd Street, Cleveland Avenue and County Road E2.
Driveway access will be maintained.
Access to the Arden Hills yard waste site will be available from northbound New Brighton Road and from 1st Street.
