Sheriff's Office staffing study published

From Ramsey County Sheriff Jack G. Serier:

Residents of Ramsey County,

In January of 2016, former Sheriff Matt Bostrom and County Manager Julie Kleinschmidt commissioned a study to provide a complete, objective and unbiased analysis of staffing and operations of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office. This study, the first agencywide analysis in our history, was commissioned as part of our pledge to consistently improve our agency. The study was completed on January 24, 2017 by Matrix Solutions. I have asked that the study be posted to our website in order to share the results of it with you, the people that we serve. The study makes 70 different recommendations. I will be discussing these recommendations with the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners on March 7, 2017 at a County Board Workshop. I will continue to update you as we use some of the study’s recommendations in order to improve the service that we provide to you.

Sincerely,

Jack Serier
Ramsey County Sheriff
