Oct. 20 town hall provides information on voting in the 2020 election

Randomly selected Ramsey County households will be among the 180 sites in the state teams of public health professionals will be visiting for the in-person survey. Residents of households selected will also be offered free COVID-19 tests.

Beaches to close for season on Sept. 8

Beach season is admittedly short this year, but there's still some time to get those summertime splashes in. Beaches will close for the season on Tuesday, September 8. Most beach locations will have swim-area buoys in place through Monday, September 7.

The drive-thru and walk-up testing is open to anyone, with or without symptoms. The testing is free, no insurance is needed and is available on Saturdays at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood and Sundays at Washington Technology Magnet School in Saint Paul.

Community volunteers sew gowns for Care Center

Community volunteers have donated 200 handmade reusable gowns to the Ramsey County Care Center. More than 50 volunteers from several community groups worked on the project coordinated by the Suburban Ramsey Emergency Coalition.
