Heat warning issued for Ramsey County

The National Weather Service Twin Cities has issued an extreme heat warning that includes Ramsey County beginning on Saturday, June 21 at noon until Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m.

Residents should check on relatives, neighbors, seniors and others with health conditions that are vulnerable to extreme heat, to make sure they are staying hydrated and safe.

Cooling spaces in Ramsey County

There are several indoor and outdoor public spaces in Ramsey County that you may visit during the heat advisory to stay cool, including libraries, beaches and pools, and recreation centers.

Please note that hours vary by location. Ramsey County Libraries are open regular hours. Call ahead or visit the facility's website to confirm hours.
