Lexington Parkway Reconstruction (Phase Two)

Contact us

Lexington Parkway will be extended from West 7th Street to Shepard Road in Saint Paul in 2023. The design utilizes Elway Street as part of the extension and includes a mini-roundabout at the Montreal Avenue intersection – the first to be constructed in the city of Saint Paul.

This is the second phase of work to redesign and reconstruct Lexington Parkway near West 7th Street, improving safety and traffic flow while creating a clearer connection to the Mississippi River.

As part of the project, Elway Street will be reconstructed with one traffic lane in each direction. New pedestrian and bicycle facilities and new lighting will be added to improve safety for all users, and utilities located under the road will be improved.
