The National Weather Service Twin Cities has issued an heat advisory beginning on Tuesday, July 15 at Noon until 8 p.m. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.
Residents living in zip codes 55106 and 55130 are invited to bring a soil sample from their yard to the Eastside YMCA on July 15 and have it screened for lead free of charge.
Absentee voting is available weekdays until Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ballots can be cast by mail or in person at the Plato Building (90 W. Plato Blvd, Saint Paul, MN).
