Board declares May 2023 Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month
The board of commissioners has declared May 2023 as Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month in Ramsey County.
This year’s theme for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is “Advancing Leaders Through Opportunity."
The board encourages all residents to honor and celebrate the rich collective history by recognizing the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islanders to Ramsey County.
Commissioner Frethem read the proclamation with community partners offering remarks.
