Featured Client: Margaret

Margaret Headshot.

After 30 years of employment, Margaret found herself laid off and eager to get back into the job market. Margaret applied for the Dislocated Worker Program and was assigned an employment counselor. The joint knowledge from her years as a Chief Operating Officer and a Contracts Administrator combined with Dislocated Worker Program resources, her employment counselor, and her Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment results helped Margaret navigate in a new world of informational interviewing and job search processes, culminating in exploring new possibilities as an entrepreneur.

Margaret now owns Cultural Strategies, LLC. She is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and a Gallup Employee Engagement Champion helping individuals, teams and organizations determine their best ways of working together.

The TalentLEAD program gave me the support I needed to explore a new path for myself—that of entrepreneurship. The program was the glue that held me together during my dark days of finding myself and becoming the person I truly wanted to become.
