Commissioners take oath of office, MatasCastillo re-elected board chair for 2023
Ramsey County commissioners Trista MatasCastillo (District 3), Rena Moran (District 4), Rafael Ortega (District 5) and Mai Chong Xiong (District 6) took the oath of office for their 2023-2026 terms during the Jan. 3, 2023, board of commissioners meeting.
The board re-elected Commissioner MatasCastillo as Chair of the Board for 2023. MatasCastillo also served as chair in 2022. Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt (District 7) was elected to serve as vice chair.
The seven-member board voted unanimously for each of the appointments.
