Temporary trail detours and closures in effect at Battle Creek Regional Park

Metropolitan Council Environmental Services is repairing and updating a significant part of the regional sewer system in Saint Paul. Construction is anticipated to last through fall 2021, and will require some trail closures and detours at Battle Creek Regional Park.

The Battle Creek Interceptor project will rebuild deteriorated areas, reduce infiltration and inflow and improve structural integrity of the 610-mile sewer system.

More information about the project can be found through the MCES project page.
