Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office ensures that deaf and hard-of-hearing people have full and equal enjoyment of its services, privileges, facilities, advantages and accommodations, and it will provide auxiliary aids and services to ensure effective communication with these individuals. Free sign language and oral interpreters, TTYs and other services are available to deaf and hard-of-hearing detainees. Volunteer Opportunities
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Detention Division Services has openings for volunteer programs. We currently have religious programs, treatment programs, and self-help programs running in our facility. If you are interested in joining our programming as a volunteer and/or have a program or service that will benefit people in our jail, please contact us by completing an online application.
