Keller-Spoon Lake Boat Launch

Spoon Lake is part of Keller Regional Park in Maplewood, located north of Highway 36. The Spoon Lake boat launch is the only public boat launch serving Keller, Lake Gervais and Kohlman lakes. 

Ramsey County Parks & Recreation will be making repairs and improvements to the boat launch beginning April 2021. As part of the project, the ramp planks will be replaced and an ADA accessible courtesy dock will be installed with sidewalk. Erosion along the sides of the ramp will additionally be repaired.

While construction could last through the end of May, Parks & Recreation will make every effort to have the ramp open for weekend use starting May 7, with periodic weekday closures until the project's completion. Additionally, while Parks & Recreation aims to complete the project by May 10, construction supply chain issues, COVID-19 disruptions and inclement weather have the potential to cause delays in the proposed construction timeline.
